Take Note lets you take any text you have copied to the clipboard, and append it to the end of any text file on your hard disk, in the blink of an eye, without even having to open the text file.
Say you're using your favorite word processor, and you want to delete some text from your document, but you don't want to lose the text. You'd like to file it away somewhere for safe keeping. You could find the file to save it to, open it, copy and paste the text, and save the document- but that could be too many steps. With Take Note, just copy the text to the clipboard, and use Take Note to select the file to append it to. That's it! You're done, and back to your word processing.
Or, say you're using you're favorite telecom program to access a BBS. You see many items on a subject that you're interested it, and you don't want them to just scroll off into oblivion. Just copy the text you want to save to the clipboard using the normal Copy command, and use Take Note to select the file to append it to. Take Note instantly appends the text to the file, and you're back to BBSing.
Or, say you're working on a memo and you've just remembered you want to invite your friend Marcia and her boyfriend to your party next Saturday. You'd like to add their names to a file called, "List of People to Invite." Just type "Invite Marcia & Ted." Copy the text with the Copy command. Launch Take Note. Highlight the file "List of People to Invite", and click Open. Their names will be added to your list without your even having to open the file.
